Agreement on cooperation between RT government and Russian state university of trade and economics

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with rector of Russian state university of trade and economics Sergey Baburin in House of RT government.

Parties discussed issues of training qualified staff for trade sector, service and tourism of Republic Tatarstan.

Currently Tatarstan needs the program of continuing staff training within frameworks of educational cluster of trade sector, service and hosting as regards perspective needs of the region and preparation for Universiade-2013, RT President Rustam Minnikhanov thinks.

Head of Tatarstan told guests about the program of staff training in republic in Russian and foreign educational and scientific centres (program “Algarysh”).

He stressed that as far as staff training is concerned RT Ministry of labor, employment and social protection should be the responsible centre (as a core ministry).

Today the system cannot function without state regulation and state support, Rustam Minnikhanov said.

Later participants discussed creation of educational cluster in the sphere of trade, service and hosting of Republic Tatarstan. Kazan trade university (branch) of Russian state university of trade and economics will become the key university.

It is meant that Kazan trade university will be the leading institute of branch system of professional education in Tatarstan due to strengthening material and technical basis.

Agreement on cooperation between RT government and Russian state university of trade and economics in the sphere of staff training for trade sector, service and tourism was signed at the meeting by RT Deputy prime minister Ravil Muratov and rector of Russian state university of trade and economics Sergey Baburin.
