Tatarstan President inspects modernization of Kazan heat power station-3

On December 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Aide to Tatarstan President Rinat Sabirov, Director General of OAO “TAIF” Albert Shigabutdinov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Minister of Economy Artem Zdunov inspected modernization of Kazan heat power station-3.

The president was told about modernization of existing capacities that will help to increase the efficiency of the station from 46 to 64 per cent and meet the needs of Kazan citizens and industrial enterprises in electricity.

Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the construction site of the new station unit. The works are planned to be finished by 2017.
