Ildar Khalikov takes part in awarding winners of regional contest “ECOleader-2015”

On December 8, at Entertainment Complex Piramida in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in a solemn awarding ceremony of the winners of regional contests “ECOleader-2015” and “Man and nature” that are held by the Ministry of ecology of the republic every year.

Ildar Khalikov reminded that Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that preservation of the environment in the republic is a priority task, as Tatarstan is one of the leading ecologically and industrially developed regions in Russia.

The contests “ECOleader-2015” and “Man and nature” are aimed at preservation of the environment, attraction of public attention to the problems of ecological safety, encouragement of environmental activity of companies and intensification of the work of mass media agencies. About 450 projects were presented in the contest “ECOleader-2015” this year. According to the contest commission, Tatneft Oil Company has become a total winner of the contest.

The Kazan municipality was announced the winner in the nominatin “Local self-government”. All winners received diplomas, statuettes and commemorative prizes.
