RT President Rustam Minnikhanov visits production plants of JSC “KAMAZ”

On April, 7 within the framework of working trip to Naberezhnye Chelny RT President Rustam Minnikhanov visited production plants of JSC “KAMAZ”. Rustam Minnikhanov visited JSC “KAMAZ” for the first time as the President. He was met by Director General of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin and Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Ildar Khalikov.

Rustam Minnikhanov opted for r visiting production units of JSC “KAMAZ”, which symbolize integration of the company into European automobile industry. It is the joint enterprise “Knorr-Bremze Kama” that produces brake systems for automobiles and paining workshop of Kama frame-pressing plant where new painting line for DÜRR cabins is being launched. This line will increase corrosion resistance of painted cab parts and empennage of KAMAZ trucks three times, provide high quality of ornamentality of paining covering and decrease hand work. The project at the cost of 1,5 bln. roubles is nearly finished and planned to be launched in June, 2010.

According to “KAMAZ” press service during last decade Rustam Minnikhanov has visited “KAMAZ” several times and participated in many company’s events. With his support and overall help of the republican government, a Kama industrial park “Master” was set up. It has become the industrial area for successful development of small and medium-size enterprises close to JSC ”KAMAZ”.
