Mintimer Shaimiev and Veniamin Popov share opinions about activity of “Russia-Islamic world” group

On December 1, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev and coordinator of “Russia-Islamic world” strategic vision group Veniamin Popov shared opinions about activity of the group headed by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and discussed current challenges.

During the meeting Popov and Shaimiev recalled that in 2006-2009 Chairman of Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Evgeny Primakov and President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev were co-chairmen of the group. Veniamin Popov, Director of the Center of partnership of civilizations at Moscow State Institute of International Relations was the group coordinator.
