IT lyceum for talented children to open in Innopolis

On December 1, at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the republic Ildar Mukhametov and vice-rector for work with students and applicants of Innopolis University Sergei Masyagin told that IT lyceum will open in at Innopolis University in January 2016.

The lyceum will have good academic infrastructure, laboratories, libraries and sports halls.

According to Sergei Masyagin, best Russian and foreign educational practices and advanced teaching methods will be used along with enhanced stydying of mathematics, physics, informatics and ICT. From the 8th form students will study vocation-related subjects in English. Mathematics, physics and informatics will be core subjects for senior students.

Teachers and professors from Innopolis University will go through competition to work at the lyceum.

In the first academic year 120 students will study at the lyceum.
