President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov: work on providing housing for war veterans is well-organized

In the Republic of Tatarstan work on providing housing for war veterans registered before March, 1, 2005 is well-organized. According to data for April, 1 19 veterans have not been provided with housing yet. For the present moment the issue is settled.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov reported about it to RF Minister of regional development Viktor Basargin via videoconference.

Videoconference communication was organized with all regions of federation. The key topic of discussions was providing housing for war veterans.

Viktor Basargin said all financial resources for solving this issue/problem have already been sent to regions. Still throughout Russia 1290 veterans registered before March, 1, 2005 are not provided with housing.

Head of Ministry of regional development informed likewise that tranche in the sum of 4,5 mln. roubles have been sent to regions for providing housing for those veterans registered after March, 1, 2005.

Viktor Basargin announced that all works are to be finished during 2010 year.

In the course of videoconference such regions as Kalmykia, Nothern Osetia, Tyva and Tatarstan reported on the current situation.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov announced that the next stage in republic will be providing housing for those veterans registered after March, 1, 2005. Their number is 7 000 people. 250 000 m² is needed to realize it.

The situation has been analyzed in republic, veterans have been polled.

By and large, the process is well-organized in republic, Rustam Minnikhanov said.
