Sunflower and conrn harvesting to be finished in Tatarstan

On November 28, at a video conference held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov reported on sunflower and conrn harvesting campaign.

According to Akhmetov, though nasty weather deterred harvesting, the campaign is nearly finished. He told that soil cultivation is underway, 1.7 mln hectares have been cultivated.

Akhmetov also mentioned regions that were most productive during the harvesting campaign, Atninsky, Sabinsky, Tyulyachinsky, Zainsky, and Baltasinsky.
