Rustam Minnikhanov visits advanced heavy residue conversion complex in Nizhnekamsk

On November 11, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the construction site of advanced heavy residue conversion complex in Nizhnekamsk, the foundation stone of which was laid in November 2012. The strategic innovative project is being implemented by OAO TAIF-NK group.

The complex will comprise a multi-stage hydrocracking unit, the installation for sulfur production of and stock tanks. The capacity of advanced heavy residue conversion complex is expected to be 3.7 mln tones per year. The oil refining depth will increase till 95 per cent. The advanced technology for refining heavy residues by converting them into light high-quality oil products will be used at the plant. When the compalex is put into operation the profit of TAIF-NK group will increase twice, providing 700 new jobs.
