Rustam Minnikhanov congratulates Aleksandr Poventkin, the winner of the battle for WBC silver heavyweight title

A Russian boxer Aleksandr Poventkin won the battle for WBC silver heavyweight title in Kazan on November 5.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Vide-president of the Federation of professional box Andrei Ryabinsky congratulated the winner.

The solemn boxing event was attended by first deputy chairman of Russian State Duma Aleksandr Zhukov, film director Nikita Mikhalkov, and singer and songwriter Aleksandr Rozenbaum.
