Working group on preparation of “road map” for implementing the Unified state automated information system in wholesale and retail sectors of alcohol market to be created in Tatarstan

On October 21, at a presentation of the Unified state automated information system at Tatarstan Government House, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov informed that a working group on preparation of the “road map” for implementing the information system in wholesale and retail sectors of alcohol market will be created in Tatarstan. The system is aimed at state control of production and sale of alcohol beverages.

In accordance with amendments to the Federal law “About state regulation of production and turnover of ethyl alcohol and alcohol-containing beverages and restriction of alcohol consumption, wholesale companies are required to enter data to the system starting from January 1, 2016, retailers in urban areas – from July 1, 2016, and retailers in rural areas – from July 1, 2017.

Rustam Minnikhanov required getting the alcohol market under control, as a lot of alcohol beverages are sold illegally in the republic.

Rustam Minnikhanov required creating a working group on implementing the Unified state automated information system in the market, which will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Vasil Shaikhraziev.
