Head of RT Ministry of construction Marat Khusnullin: explanatory work with citizens concerning collection of funds for major repairs is not well-organized in regions

About 700 mln. roubles were received by State housing fund under President of Republic Tatarstan from republican enterprises for participating in social mortgage program, CEO of State housing fund Talgat Abdullin said at meeting in the RT Cabinet.

The meeting on issues of housing construction and major repairs was held by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov in videoconference format with participation of all municipal regions.

Talgat Abdullin reminded that by and large for the current period 1 bln. 309 mln. roubles were received by State housing fund. Information about providing housing for veterans on thresholds of 65-anniverasry of the Victory was presented to RT Prime Minister.

Rustam Minnikhanov, in his turn, noted that out of 6,8 thousand veterans 30 % wish to make their living conditions better by social mortgage program. He suggested attracting veteran organizations and members of RT Public chamber for providing housing for veterans.

RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Marat Khusnullin reported on housing construction. He announced that today explanatory work with citizens is not well-organized in regions (in particular, concerning collection of 5 roubles per m² for major repairs). Besides, not all municipal regions provided co-financing of major repairs program.

Marat Khusnullin told in details about installing metering devices is planned by republican program in 2010.
