Head of Tatarstan government Rustam Minnikhanov took part in 46th session of city Council in Naberezhnye Chelny

Naberezhnye Chelny is a city we pay special attention to. It is one of the industrial centres in republic, RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov said at 46th session of city Council of municipal unit Naberezhnye Chelny. By his words the city seriously suffered from financial crisis.

“I do not consider 2010 year to be easier, - Rustam Minnikhanov continued. - Earlier Tatarstan economy grew annually for about 6,5-7%, in 2009 the rates decreased. Our wellbeing depends on income base, but last year consolidated budget of republic received 23 bln. roubles less”.

Prime Minister stressed that Russian Ministry of finances supported Tatarstan seriously by allocating a budget credit. Republic entered 2010 year with budget deficit of 12 bln. roubles.

Rustam Minnikhanov reminded likewise that some investment programs were scrapped in republic. Still the program connected with capital investments into reconstruction of emergency hospital in Naberezhnye Chelny was maintained and was the most priority one.

Prime Minister said about the recently signed credit agreement on delivering high-tech medical equipment. (see for details http://prav.tatar.ru/rus/index.htm/news/48253.htm).

Today our country is fighting to change the situation in Tolyatti at JSC ''AVTOVAZ”, Rustam Minnikhanov said. The same situation might happen to JSC “KAMAZ” in Naberezhnye Chelny, but the proper work of management proved its value.

RT Prime Minister supposes that maintaining of stability at labor market is a key task for the city.

One more program which needs immediate decision is reformation of educational system. The problem becomes more urgent in Year of the teacher (2010).

RT Prime Minister also said about problems of intracity roads and transport service in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that realization of federal program of state purchase of transport machinery for JSC “KAMAZ” and JSC “Sollers” will be continued in 2010.

Moreover, according to Tatarstan Prime Minister it I necessary to pay attention to solving such tasks as organization and holding of celebrations on 65-anniversary of the Victory in Great Patriotic War, providing housing for war veterans, holding of municipal elections and All-Russian census.

Head of Executive committee of the city Vasil Shaikhraziev made report on work in 2009 within the framework of 46th session of city Council.

General Director of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin and Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Ildar Khalikov also spoke at the session.
