Farid Mukhametshin: “Tatarstan President is elected by direct vote of the people for the first time in 15 years”

On September 13, 2015, a single polling day, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin took part in the presidential elections.

Tatarstan Parliament Speaker voted at the polling station No. 43 located in the Lyceum No.116 of the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan.

At the press-conference F. Mukhametshin noted that for the first time in 15 years Tatarstan Leader is elected by direct vote of the citizens.

The head of the parliament said that these elections are an important step towards further steady and progressive development of Tatarstan.
