Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov held organization committee on preparation for VIII All-Russia summer country sport games in Elabuga

VIII All-Russia summer country sport games will be held in Elabuga (the Republic of Tatarstan) on July, 8-13, 2010. Issues of preparation and holding competitions were discussed at a visit session of republican organization committee chaired by Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.

Head of Elabuga municipal region Ilshat Gafurov made the main report. He reminded that Ministry of agriculture of Russia, RF Ministry of sport, tourism and youth policy and Public associations union “Voluntary sports association “Harvest” had already approved the regulations about the games. On its basis the edict of RT President on preparation and holding games 2010 was approved.

Within framework of games it is planned to receive more than 4 000 sportsmen from all regions of federation and the near abroad.
Rustam Minnikhanov considers that sport infrastructure of Elabuga and city’s appearance meet all requirements and allow holding All-Russia summer rural games.

Head of RT Government also noted that Russian Ministries of agriculture and sports will ensure financial support. By and large, 113,8 mln. roubles are needed for holding event. Within framework of organization committee issues of accommodation of guests and sportsmen were discussed.
