On August 20, at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and representatives of the Moody's Global rating agency discussed the macroeconomic performance and prospects of the economic development of the republic.

Khalikov said that Tatarstan is one the leading Russian region in many respects, in particular in terms of gross regional product, index number of industrial and agricultural production.
