On August 17, at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov had a meeting with Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the USA Aleksander Stadnik to discuss opportunities of collaboration in modern conditions and issues of current economic and political situation in the world. First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Ruslan Kabirov and  Aide to Tatarstan Prime Minister on foreign economic activity Nazil Nasibullin participated in the event. 

Aleksander Stadnik said that there is an interest in strategic cooperation between certain states of the USA and Tatarstan Republic. 

Aleksander Stadnik was appointed Russian Trade Representative in the United States of America by the Russian Government on July 10, 2014.
