Petrogaschemical complex of Tatarstan has kept its potential in crises

Today, JSC "Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Board of directors under presidency of Tatarstan Prime minister Rustam Minnikhanov has considered the results of activity of the petrogaschemical enterprises complex of the republic in 2009 and a raft of perspective projects.

In 2009, the enterprises of complex as a whole managed to keep industrial potential, director general of holding Rafinat Yarullin informed. Owing to anti-recessionary actions, the catastrophic decrease in number of the personnel was not made. The important investment projects for republic's economy have been completed. The primary goals for 2010 are the following: renewal of positive dynamics of development, strengthening of positions on Russian and the world markets due to realization of the planned investment projects and restoration of profitability.

On course of implementing the decision of RT Security council since June 4th, 2007 on reconstruction of Minnibaevsky gas processing factory (MGPZ) with increase in producing ethane up to 140 thousand tons a year informed chief of "Tatneftegasperereabotka" department of JSC " Tatneft " Farit Zakiev. On his information, starting-up and adjustment works on new capacities are planned for III quarter of current year. As director general of "Tatneft" Sh. Takhautdinov noted, in the given sphere across Russia the similar modern equipment still is not present.

According to Rustama Minnikhanov, realization of this project will be a big support in matter of raw provision of the petrochemical enterprises of Tatarstan. Prime-minister expressed intention to visit MGPZ in the near future.

General director of situated near Moscow ZAO NPK "Ecologiya" Dmitry Arsenyev presented the project of complex processing of wheat 4 grade. The point is about plans on creating one or two large enterprises with attraction of the western technologies and investments in the republic. It is assumed maximal turnout of glucoze- fructoze syrups from the received starch with obtaining as co-products of dry glutten and forages.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the republic is interested in processing about 1 million tons of grain. It will allow to make the plant growing of Tatarstan less dependent on the grain market of Russia, which last years became risky.

At session the issue on creation of pharmaceutical cluster in Tatarstan on the basis of JSC "Tatkhimfarmpreparat" also was examined with participation of the scientific and educational centers of Kazan. The matter is of the project placing in the corresponding federal program.

General director of JSC «Innovative-industrial technopark "Idea" Sergei Jushko informed about plans on creating the nanotechnological center in Kazan with participation of "Rosnano". For this purpose it is necessary to take part in relevant federal competition. As Rustam Minnikhanov marked in Russia similar centers so far are not present and Tatarstan with its developed chemistry and petrochemistry is extremely interested in creation of such entity.
