On May 30,at Kazan Kremlin, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia Federal Assembly Valentina Matviyenko where development of Tatarstan Parliamentarism and other topical issues were under discussion. 

Within the framework of the meeting, Valentina Matvienko handed  Medal of Honour “Federation Council. 20 years” to Rustam Minnikhanov.

To the point, the Medal of Honour “Federation Council. 20 years” was instituted to 20th anniversary of Federation Council of Russia Federal Assembly.
