First Deputy Chairman of RF Government Igor Shuvalov: it is always pleasant to work with Tatarstan

First Deputy Chairman of RF Government Igor Shuvalov said at a meeting in an extended composition of the RT Cabinet that this year has been rather successful for Tatarstan, notwithstanding economic crisis. The session was devoted to anti-crisis measures realized in republic, holding major repairs in multi-family houses (FZ № 185 “On Fund of assistance to housing and communal reforms”) and implementation of national he project “Available and comfort housing to Russian citizens”.

RT President Mintimer Shaimiev and Director General of Fund of assistance to housing and communal reforms Konstantin Tsitsin took part in the event. It was held in videoconference mode by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of all municipal regions.

RT First vice-premier Ravil Muratov made a report on realization of anti-crisis program in RT economy.

Igor Shuvalov thanked Tatarstan leadership for a successful organization of work within program of major repairs and construction of Universiade objects.

According to RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Marat Khusnullin 2009 has been one of the best years in the sphere of construction in spite of crisis. By and large, in 2009 150 bln. roubles were attracted to building sector and economy of republic, for construction of Universiade objects, oil-refining and petrochemical plants complex in Nizhnekamsk (“TANEKO” project), special economic zone “Alabuga”, techno parks, major repairs of houses.

2 mln. m² of housing have been commissioned in Tatarstan in 2009. Chief of RT Ministry of construction, architecture and housing noted that the volumes of mortgage crediting have decreased in republic.

First Deputy Chairman of RF Government Igor Shuvalov informed that a program of commercial mortgage is planned to be launched in Russia. He mentioned likewise that projects on decreasing tension in labour market are to be continued in 2010.

By words of Igor Shuvalov the key issue of the next yeaк will become the problem of mono-cities. Thus, 20 projects on mono-cities will have started by the first quarter of 2010.
 
First Deputy Chairman of RF Government wished well coordinated work for the next year and all possible support on his part.

We remind that this visit of Igor Shuvalov to Kazan was timed to a solemn opening of six Universiade objects on Fermskoe highway st., R.Vagapova, Daurskaya, Chuikova, O.Koshevogo, Khimikov) and summing up of Year of sports and healthy way of life in Tatarstan.
