Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov: in crisis conditions power efficiency and resource-saving become more urgent

More than 130 enterprises and organizations from Tatarstan, Russian regions and abroad took part in XI international specialized exhibition "Energetics. Resource-saving" and X International symposium "Power and resource efficiency and power-saving” in Kazan. Events are being held in exhibition centre “Kazan fair”.

At opening ceremony Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that in crisis conditions power efficiency and resource-saving become more urgent. He thanked organizers of the exhibition and wished its participants successful work and new contacts.

President of Russian union of manufacturers and entrepreneurs Aleksandr Shokhin said that Tatarstan is one the leading regions in Russia where the issues (problems) of power and resource saving are being solved on systemic and programmed basis. By his words program “power and resource efficiency in RT for 2006-2010” will be successfully realized.

Guests overhauled expositions of companies and enterprises presented in exhibition centre “Kazan fair”. Later the joint session of Tatarstan government and Russian union of manufacturers and entrepreneurs on “Realization of state policy in power and resource efficiency" was held in business centre of “Kazan fair”.
