On April 21, at Tatarstan Government House, Interim Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the finalists of the Personnel Reserve project.

Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov noted that skilled people are in demand everywhere.

“This form, in which we find leaders who represent our educational establishments and public associations, is needed. We provide conditions for getting skills. It is important to be able to show yourself in the environment in which you are building up. The republic runs various programmes, including this one,” he said.

“Human capital is the most important competitive advantage,” Minnikhanov stated, stressing that Tatarstan is able to solve many issues, as it has both industrial and human potential.

President of the Academy of Creative Youth Association Valentin Shikhobalov thanked Minnikhanov for the opportunity to meet him.
“This project won recognition as a real social lift for people who want to be recognised in Tatarstan,” Shikhobalov said. Many of the participants of the Personnel Reserve project are employed by Tatarstan government, as well as by industrial plants and commercial entities.

“The Personnel Reserve is a platform for personal and business growth for all the young people willing to live in Tatarstan and progress in various fields,” he added.

The Personnel Reserve finalists told about the projects they worked on, which list includes increasing general legal literacy, economic growth through IT pools, promoting mass sports through Kazan Athletic Marathon, and others.

For five years of its existence the Personnel Reserve project has become part of the work to select, train and involve in publicly valuable activities younger leaders, forming innovative research and education technologies and methods of working with proactive youth.
