Head of Tatarstan government Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in All-Russian forum on quality

Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov addressed with welcoming speech to participants of All-Russian forum on quality. It is being held in the capital of Tatarstan – Kazan (KRK “Korston”) on November 18-20 under the motto “Best experience - for better life”. The event is dedicated to World day of quality and European quality week.

President of All-Russian quality organization Gennady Voronin opened a plenary session.

Head of RT government Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that issues of increasing competitiveness are directly connected with improving quality of technologies, goods and services. By his words today our republic strives for taking one of the leading places by output of high-quality and high-tech goods. One may be convinced of this fact by visiting such enterprises and organizations of Tatarstan as JSC “Kazanorgsintez”, JSC “Kazan helicopter plant”, Interregional clinicodiagnostic centre (training centre), JSC “Bakery and confectionery complex”, JSC “Kazankompressormash” and other ones. He also reminded that more than 300 enterprises in republic have certificate of conformance ISO 9000.

Tatarstan is a leader among Russian regions by issues of increasing goods quality and improving competitiveness, RT PM said. Besides, annually the contest for RT government awards for quality is held in republic. In 2009 it was conducted for the 5th time.

At plenary session of forum also made speeches Deputy Plenipotentiary to RF President on Volga federal area Aleksey Kubrin, RF Deputy Minister of industry and trade Vladimir Salamatov and others.
