Head of the RT government Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with company managers «Guangdong Weihua Corporation» (China)

Representatives of several Chinese companies held meeting at the RT Cabinet of Republic Tatarstan with Head of the RT government Rustam Minnikhanov.
We remind that the Chinese delegation is on a visit in capital of Tatarstan - Kazan, within the limits of the official program meetings, business negotiations and so forth are planned.

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov has stated in the beginning of a today's meeting, the republic is interested in adjusting direct contacts with provinces of the Chinese National Republic. He reminded, in particular, that Tatarstan had signed the cooperation agreement with Shandong province.

Addressing to top managers of «Guangdong Weihua Corporation» (China), he informed that timber-processing in which sphere this company is specialized, today is claimed in Tatarstan likewise. “We have a significant source of raw materials, we are engaged in their processing, - Rustam Minnikhanov told. - your experience in this sphere is interesting to us, is demanded by our experts”.

During a meeting, the questions of cooperation within the limits of the investment project «Complex use semi-subsistence wood of sparsely- forested regions on example of Republic Tatarstan» were discussed. Rustam Minnikhanov also reminded that in details this question had been considered earlier, during a visit to China by first deputy RT Prime minister Boris Pavlov ( October 26, September 1st, 2009). Then during negotiations with the company «Guangdong Weihua Corporation» the preliminary arrangement on realization of the project in territory of Republic Tatarstan has been achieved.

The purpose of the investment project «Complex use of semi-subsistence wood of sparsely forested regions on example of Republic Tatarstan » - commercialization of wood resources of Tatarstan, their use under specific projects in view of high technologies. The project provides use of semi-subsistence wood, creating a factory of complete industrial-building complex on sawing up, deep processing of wood and low storey industrial home building of wood, and recycling of waste.

We remind, that in the program of present visit of the Chinese delegation - visiting Free Economic Zone «Alabuga» where accommodation of joint venture on construction of a factory on processing of semi-subsistence commodity wood is supposed.
