First president of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev expressed his gratitude to Head of Ingushetia Yunus-bek Yevkurov for naming one of the streets in Nazran after him.

“I express my gratitude to Ingush people, you and Mayor of Nazran Alikhan Tumgoyev for the decision to memorize the name of a son of Tatar people, who serves to consolidate and develop overall cooperation and spiritual relations between our republics. I hope to be in line with the constellation of those famous historical figures, whose names were given to streets of a beautiful city of Nazran.”
