On February 25, at an extended session of Tatarstan Presidential Council for inter-ethnic relations at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that it is important to organize work with young people in this sphere.

Minnikhanov noted that open and useful conversation about inter-ethnic relations helps developing joint actions and further systemic work.

“We do not have any disagreements in this sphere in the republic. We discuss all our problems with representatives of different confessions and public organizations,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.

He noted that it would be useful to organize work on explaning the basis of religion with participation of representatives of different confessions at schools. Also, national and regional features should be taken into account on TV channels and radio.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, members of Tatarstan delegations always talk to representatives of Tatar communities when they visit other regions.
