First vice premier of Tatarstan Boris Pavlov held important meetings during the II international nanotechnology forum in Moscow

Delegation of Republic Tatarstan headed by first deputy prime minister Boris Pavlov is taking part in the II international nanotechnology forum in Moscow (“Expocenter”, October 6-8 2009).

More than 300 Russian and foreign companies from 17 countries have presented their projects at the exhibition of innovative products. On the first day of exhibition 1070 people visited Tatarstan display exposition.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Speaker of the Russian State Duma Boris Gryzlov, RF Minister of education and science Andrey Fursenko and General Director of “Rosnanotech” Anatoly Chubais visited the exhibition before the beginning of plenary session.

Dmitry Medvedev earlier confirmed at the meeting with Anatoly Chubais that notwithstanding economic problems Russian state will not refuse from developing nanotechnologies and support small and middle business in this sphere.

On the first day of forum Boris Pavlov held meetings on issues of participation of various companies and organizations in realization of the projects included in complex program of project development of Tatarstan nanoindustry for the period of 2009-2015.

On October, 7 Boris Pavlov reported at the workshop on “Elements of innovative economy infrastructure” (business-incubators, technoparks, centres of collective use, technical innovative special economic zones). Regional programs of nanotechnology development”. Boris Pavlov presented a pilot project of Republic Tatarstan “Complex program of project development of RT nanoindustry for the period of 2009-2015” and told about republican investment and innovative projects.
