On February 4, at Tatarstan Govermnent House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with ice hockey legend Phil Esposito. 

Phil Esposito’ teammate in Canadian national team Scott McPherson, Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Vladimir Leonov, Chief of Directorate for Sports Projects Azat Kadyrov took part in the event. 

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Phil Esposito for his visit to Kazan and told him about ice hockey development in Tatarstan Republic.

Tomorrow the prominent  ice hockey player will hold a master class for young trainees of Ak Bars hockey school. Then, Phil Esposito and Scott McPherson are expected to be toured around Kazan with visit to major sport venues of the republic.
