Number of unified state exam stations to be reduced in Tatarstan this year
20.01.2015On January 22, speaking at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Education and Science of the republic said that in 2015 the number of unified state exam stations will be reduced to 96 in Tatarstan.
In 2014, all exam stations were equipped with means of video surveillance, the minister reported. “This allowed us to ensure objectivity and transparency in conducting the 11-year graduates final assessment,” he stressed.
“At the instruction of Federal Education Oversight and Control Service, the number of auditoriums with video broadcasting in Russia is planned to be increased to 80 per cent in 2015. But in Tatarstan we plan to install video surveillance at 100 per cent of unified state exam stations,” he added.
Besides, changes will be made to the order of issuing examination papers. Last year, Tatarstan State Examination Commission received them from Special Communication Department between 12:00 am and 7:00 am on the day of examination. In 2015, examination materials are expected to be delivered to exam stations by department officials.
Last year, there were 19,585 school leavers in Tatarstanб while this year the number is expected to make 18,701.
