Tatarstan Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov: “Every forth appeal of unified state exam is settled”

32 719 people took part in the past unified state exam in 2009. The exam was held as planned on 13 subjects: Russian language, mathematics, literature, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, history, social science, foreign languages (English, German, French), informatics and information communicative technologies. Such information was given by Minister of education and science of Republic Tatarstan Albert Gilmutdinov at briefing in the RT Cabinet. He also added that unified state exam was also held in Tatar language and Tatar literature (national-regional component).

From the total number of those who passed the exam more than 28 000 people are comprehensive school- leavers of 2009, 1168 - school-leavers of past years.

RT Minister of education and science noted that about 2 000 school leavers will not get certificates this year.

Most students passed exam in Russian language and mathematics.

Head of RT Ministry of education and science noted sharp increase of number of disabled children in 2009.
