On November 13, President of Republic of Peru Ollanta Humala, whose airplane landed at the Kazan International Airport, was met by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Ruslan Kabirov, Representative of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kazan Radik Vakhitov and other officials.

During their short meeting Ollanta Humala and Ildar Khalikov discussed issues related to mutually beneficial cooperation between Tatarstan and Peru in some areas within the framework of Russia-Peru relationship.
