Tatarstan builds sports and fitness year-round ski complex in the territory of tourist area “Avaza”, Turkmenistan

Decision was made in the course of visit of Tatarstan delegation headed by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov to Turkmenistan. We remind that Tatarstan delegation is being in 2-day business trip to Turkmenistan for taking part in a solemn opening of the first stage of sanatoria and health resorts at national tourist zone "Avaza".

Presentations of new projects and proposals from foreign companies which are going to invest into development of “Avaza” area have also been covered at the meeting.

Upon finishing the presentation President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed a deal on allocation of 18 hectares for construction of sports and fitness year-round ski complex. This investment project was presented by Republic Tatarstan together with a number of building companies (managing company is “KER-holding” www.ker-holding.ru )

By words of Aide to Prime Minister on foreign economic activity Iskander Mouflikhanov the document about allocation of 18 hectares at the territory of tourist area “Avaza” was transferred to Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.
