On September 2, at his meeting with a Russian scientist, founder and Board Chairman of IPG Photonics Valentin Gapontsev at Kazan National Research Technical University, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Valentin Gapontsev for his visit to Kazan and participation in realization of such important projects as engineering centre “KAI-laser”.

The parties discussed development of cooperation between Tatarstan and IPG Photonics, including interaction with Kazan National Research Technical University.

Aide to Tatarstan President on economic affairs Airat Khairullin, Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, and rector of Kazan National Research Technical University Albert Gilmutdinov took part in the meeting.
