Farid Mukhametshin handed state awards of Russia and Tatarstan

50 outstanding representatives of various spheres gathered in the Kazan Kremlin today: medical, cultural, academic and business professionals. On behalf of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin congratulated them with high achievements.
“The most outstanding people of our republic gathered in this hall today, all of them have achieved high results in their spheres and have been acknowledged by their colleagues,” Farid Mukhametshin said. “I have the honor to hand these awards and I am doing it with great pleasure.”
Head of the parliament told briefly about social and economic situation in the republic. Tatarstan keeps leading positions in many spheres. The economy is quite successful in oil, construction and road industry, big attention is given to agriculture; 27 programs of social development function in the republic.
