Results of tax declaration campaign in Tatarstan: number of billionaires decreased from 6 to 1

Acting Chief of Federal Tax Service Management in Tatarstan Marat Safiullin informed at a traditional briefing in the RT Cabinet that within the framework of tax declaration campaign citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan submitted more than 245 000 income declarations to tax bodies. On-line briefing was broadcasted in Internet.

Marat Safiullin said that 227 000 declarations were submitted last year. “Results of current declaration campaign confirmed the annual tendency of growth of declaration number with big income sums”, - Marat Safiullin said. Number of millionaires in Tatarstan has increased by 10 % and made 10 160 people. Quantity of billionaires has decreased from 6 to 1.

Marat Safiullin reminded who has to report on income to tax bodies in case the taxes were not withheld. That is individual entrepreneurs, attorneys, notaries, private persons, citizens who got income from realization or leasing of real estate, vehicles, other valuable property and those who won any prizes.

Besides, starting from 2008 the new category of citizens has been added - those who got income as reward paid to them as heirs (legal successors) of authors of works of science, literature, art, and authors of innovations, useful models and industrial specimen.

The time of declaration submission is not limited. The only term is to submit declarations within 3 years from the moment of expenses realization.

Today when many citizens have financial problems, refund from the budget of paid tax for income may change the situation with family budget.
