On July 22, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of a new multi-purpose culture centre in Kurkachi village, (Vysokogorsky region, Tatarstan).

The new village club was built under regional programme and occupies the area of 500 m². The cost of construction made 12 million roubles. There are drama, dance, singing, checks, drawing, origami, knitting, family alliance, and other classes in the club.

Welcoming local dwellers, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that achievements of Vysokogorsky region are especially important for him because he used to work there.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that 30 programmes on developing rural areas are being realized in the republic. He expressed confidence in prosperous future of Vysokogorsky region and wished local dwellers all the best.

Rustam Minnikhanov looked around the new culture centre. He told journalists that development of social infrastructure, construction of new roads, medical and obstetric stations, and clubs in rural areas is very important.
