Rustam Minnikhanov visits House of entertaining science and technology in Kazan

On July 5, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the House of entertaining science and technology in Kazan, the first scientific and entertainment centre for children and adults opened in June 2013.
It is the follow-up realization of the idea of the House of entertaining science founded by the professor Yakov Perelman in Leningrad in 1935. The idea belongs to two-time Hero of the Soviet Union, astronaut Georgy Grechko.
Various events were organized for children and adults. For example, children could make a map of Tatarstan of clay, rockets of coloured paper, write greetings on small paper stars and stick them to the rocket. By and large, 22.5 thousand people have visited the House of entertaining science and technology over the past year.
Educational excursions around two exhibition halls with interactive expositions, and interactive show programmes are organized here.
Director General of the House of entertaining science and technology Dmitry Ivanov told that due to launching of the third construction stage, twice as many visitors are expected to visit the house.
Basically, activities held at the house are meant for children aged 5-12.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, employees of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, different agencies and enterprises, and higher educational institutions looked around expositions presented at the House of entertaining science and technology.
