On June 28, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Deputy Minister of Finance Sergei Shatalov discussed development of oil industry and problems of taxation in the industry.

Tatarstan Minister of Finance Radik Gaizatullin, Aide to Tatarstan President Rinat Sabirov, Director General of OAO Tatneft Nail Maganov, Deputy Director General, chief geologist of OAO Tatneft Rais Khisamov, Director General of OAO TAIF Albert Shigabutdinov took part in the meeting.
