On June 24, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a regular session of the Organizing committee on holding the XVI aquatics championship 2015 in Kazan.

Tatarstan Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport Rafis Burganov made a keynote report on preparation for the championship. Some current issues related to the preparation for one of largest international events, and the opening ceremony, in particular, were discussed at the session.
