According to Director General of DoorHan Alexander Khanin, creation of industrial parks is a new area for the company, and DoorHan chose Tatarstan as a place for its first project because of its most comfortable investment climate.

Three buildings with a total area of 90,000 square meters will be located on a site of 25 hectares. The first building with an area 18,000 square meters is planned to be open in the fourth quarter of 2016, the other two will be commissioned afterwards, one building every two years.

Alexander Khanin noted that well equipped areas will be available for rent for small and medium size business.

The total project cost is more than one billion roubles, the company will invest own funds without attracting loans and other financing from the side. According to Alexander Khanin, the estimated project payback is 6-8 years.

"I am pleased that we are launching this project on Day of Russian Entrepreneur. The entrepreneurship support is the main task of the state. In our republic we have done quite a lot in terms of development of platforms for big business, but the park offered by our partners for small and medium business is new for us,” Rustam Minnikhanov said, speaking at the ceremony.

Tatarstan President thanked DoorHan for the initiative to implement the project. "I am sure this site will be very attractive and I assure you that we will provide maximum support to this investment project and Laishevo region," Rustam Minnikhanov said.

At the end of the ceremony, the honoured guests put symbolic puzzle pieces together to mark the beginning of construction of the new industrial park.
