Changes to Unified State Exam 2014 discussed at Tatarstan Government House

20.05.2014

On May 20, at a briefing at Tatarstan Government House, First Deputy Minister Danil Mustafin told journalists about changes to the Unified State Exam in 2014.

In particular, Danil Mustafin said that the new legislation cancels paper certificates with the exam results (information about scores of examinees is contained in relevant information systems), expands terms of validity of the exam up to four years. These terms apply to graduates of 2012 and 2013. By and large, it was planned to open 107 examination points. As a result of the actual registration of graduates and other categories of participants of the exam in the Federal information system for mass examinations (Russian language and mathematics), 101 examination points will work.

One more change Danil Mustafin told about is that the exam variants will be divided according to the time zones and not to zones (Center, Ural, Siberia and the Far East) as it was before. One of the conditions that enable raising technological capabilities of holding the exam and other activities to assess the quality of education to a new level is opening a new building of the Regional centre for monitoring quality of education that serves as a regional center for information processing during the state examination. It is planned to open the Center this week, Danil Mustafin said.
