On April 26 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived in Turkmenistan with two-day official visit, was met by First Deputy Chairman of Turkmenistan Cabinet of Ministers Rashid Meredov, Ambassador of Russia to Turkmenistan Aleksandr Blokhin at Ashkhabad airport.

Tatarstan President is going to meet with Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov, and hold negotiations where agreements on cooperation will be signed. In the afternoon Rustam Minnikhanov will meet with President of Turkish Republic Abdullah Gül.

On April 27 Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in Turkmen Racing Horse Festival.

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Minister of Transport and Roads Lenar Safin, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, OAO “Tatneft” Director General Nail Maganov, Board Chairman of OAO “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” Vladimir Busygin, and OAO “KAMAZ” Director General Sergey Kogogin are on Tatarstan delegation.
