On March 6 results of the regional contest "Woman of the year. Man of the year: women's view" were summarised at Kazan City Hall.

To the point, the contest is traditionally held on the threshold of the International women’s day.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov congratulated women present at the event on the upcoming holiday.

Ildar Khalikov also thanked all women who took part in preparation and holding of the Universiade in Kazan.

“First of all, I would like to wish you happiness, a lot of reasons to smile. May your children and grandchildren bring you joy,” Ildar Khalikov added.

Then, Ildar Khalikov presented state awards to the women.
