50 thousand Tatarstan citizens to be restricted to go abroad by bailiff service in 2014

On February 6 at a board session of Tatarstan Bailiff Service on results of work in 2013 Chief Bailiff Radik Ilyasov reported that the Bailiff Service is planning to restrict international departures for 50 thousand Tatarstan citizens in 2014.

Last year the Bailiff Service issued 20352 resolutions on temporary restriction to go abroad to the amount of debts totaling to 9 billion rubles.

It was reported that 5713 of the given resolutions on temporary restriction to go abroad were issued against alimony payers (having alimony debt obligations totaling to 263 million rubles). Moreover, 1080 criminal cases were opened against deliberate non-payers under Article 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, including 612 cases against debtors having alimony debts totaling to more than 100000 rubles.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in the session.
