Rustam Minnikhanov visits “Time to Be Together” festival

On 20 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the “Time to Be Together” festival held with participation of more than 70 thousand people at the Family Center in Kazan. 

Welcoming participants of the festival, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked them for taking active part in the elections and said: “The elections in the republic have been held at a high organizational level. I thank you for your active civic stance.” 

The festival was a culmination of a three-day voting at the elections of members of the State Duma of IX convocation held in Russia on 18-20 September with additional elections of a deputy to the State Council of Tatarstan for the Vysokogorsky Single-Mandate Constituency No. 50 and by-elections for deputies to local representative bodies in 40 districts of the republic organized in Tatarstan.
