Rustam Minnikhanov passes over new machinery to Tatarstan foresters

On 12 September in Saby region, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Vyacheslav Spirenkov and the regional Minister of Forestry Ravil Kuzyurov took part in a ceremony of passing over new forest fire-fighting and forestry machinery to forestry workers of the republic, dedicated to the Day of Forestry Workers and the 105th anniversary of the establishment of the state forestry management agency of Tatarstan .

Speaking at the ceremony, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that forest conservation and regeneration is one of priority tasks and the republic attaches great attention to strengthening the material and technical base of forestry units. “We thank forestry workers for your huge and very important work. We always attach special attention to the support of the branch,” he said.

All in all the units received 37 lots of machinery purchased within the federal programme “Forest Conservation” and the state programme “The development of forestry of Tatarstan”.
