Rais of Tatarstan meets farmers of Tukayevskiy region

On 10 September during his working trip to Tukayevskiy region, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the heads of enterprises and organizations, heads of rural settlements and the local active members of the community.

Speaking at the meeting, the Head of the region Kamil Nazmiev thanked the leadership of the republic for having built a new ice arena and stated that the facility has become an important gift for the 50th anniversary of the region. It is planned to open the football pitch next year, he said.

He also informed that harvest in the region has been completed by 94%, with spring crops having been harvested on the area of 36 900 hectares, the harvesting of sugar beet is going on and the sowing of winter crops has been finished. In the current year the region takes part in 26 regional and federal programmes, Kamil Nazmiev reported and stated that special attention is given to the support of participants of the special military operation (SMO) and to more than 450 their families, and since the beginning of the SMO the region has already sent 392 tonnes of humanitarian aid.

In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that families of the SMO participants should feel a continuous attention especially those where there are fallen soldiers.
