Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working trip to the town of Cholpon-Ata

On 5 September, upon his arrival to the International Airport Issyk-Kul of the town of  Cholpon-Ata, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was welcomed by the Deputy Chairman of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Minister Ulan Mamtakanov and the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of Kyrgyzstan  Akyl Toktobaev.

Tomorrow on 6 September Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in a ceremony of closing the World Nomad Games 2026 where the handover of one of the symbols of the Games will be handed over to Kazan which will host the Games in 2028. 

The first World Nomad Games, which unite more than 3 000 athletes from more than 100 countries in 13 kinds of sports (including seven kinds of national wrestling), were held in Cholpon-Ata in 2014, and Tatarstan athletes take active part in them.
