Rustam Minnikhanov gives a number of errands at a meeting in Tatarstan Government House

On 4 September, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave a number of errands.

Thus every year the Day of Oil and Gas Industry Workers is celebrated in Russia on the first Sunday of September, and Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Every year on the first Sunday of September Russia celebrates the Day of Oil and Gas Workers.  For more than 80 years Tatarstan has been producing oil which has become the foundation for the economy of the republic, gave impetus for the development of machine-building, chemistry, petrochemical industry and defense industrial complex and ensured a substantial contribution into the fuel and energy security of the country. During these years generations of oil and gas workers have created unique scientific engineering schools and laid foundations of professional skills continues by young specialists.”

He expressed his gratitude to enterprises of the republic and old stagers of the industry for a great contribution into the social and economic development and gave an errand to the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Municipal bodies of the Almetyevsk region, where ceremonial events are to be held on the occasion of the professional holiday, to organize the fest at the high level.

Speaking about the Day of Languages of the Peoples of Russia to be celebrated on 8 September, the Rais of the republic said: “The native language plays the main role in preservation and passing cultural heritage, historical memory and identity of people to future generations. There are a number of federal, regional and municipal events to be held on the occasion of this event.  It is essential to ensure broad participation of the population in these activities, especially among the younger generation.”

Rustam Minnikhanov also mentioned the issues of preparation to the heating season and gave an errand to pay special attention to the readiness of heat supplying and heat grid organizations and to have all passports of readiness by 15 September.
