Rais of Tatarstan and Russian Emergencies Minister look round an exposition of the salon “Integrated Security-2026”

On 4 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Russian Minister  for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (EMERCOM)  Aleksandr Kurenkov and the Governor of Krasnoyarsk region Mikhail Kotyukov visited the exposition deployed at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center on the sidelines of the XVI International salon “Integrated Security-2026”, where they got acquainted with advanced samples of technique and developments of more than 300 organizations, covering all key spheres of the branch from fire-rescue gear and aircraft technologies to digital monitoring systems and robots.

On the outside part on the exposition Rustam Minnikhanov and Aleksandr Kurenkov inspected the Mi-38PS helicopter used in the Arctic, which has been designed for work at the North Sea Route and has a record flight range in its class. The aircraft is designed to carry people, cargo, fulfill search and rescue operations and other tasks. The helicopter has been manufactured at the Kazan Helicopter Plant taking into consideration all requirements of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

At the exposition Rustam Minnikhanov and Aleksandr Kurenkov signed an agreement between the Government of Tatarstan and the EMERCOM on intent to organize work of the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization “Center for the promotion of life safety – Tatarstan Safety Center”. 

A ceremonial commemorative cancellation of pictorial stamped envelopes also took place to mark 120th anniversary of the St Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia named after the Hero of Russia and Army General Zinichev.
